Privacy Policy

1. Local-First Data Storage

Your data is stored primarily on YOUR device:

  • Training logs, programs, and preferences are stored locally using Hive
  • Data remains on your device unless you explicitly use cloud features
  • Clearing browser data or app storage will permanently delete your local data

2. What We Store on Our Servers

Our backend (Firebase) stores minimal data:

  • Authentication credentials (email, Google account ID)
  • AI usage tracking: token counts, estimated cost (USD), request count, and tier - tied to your user ID
  • Error logs for debugging (anonymized)

3. AI Processing

When you use AI features:

  • Training log text is sent to your configured AI provider for parsing/analysis
  • Chat messages are processed by your AI provider
  • We do not store AI conversation history on our servers
  • Your AI provider may retain data per their privacy policy

Important: Do not enter sensitive personal health information, medical conditions, diagnoses, or other confidential data. This service is intended for training logs only.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Firebase (Google): Authentication, usage tracking
  • AI Providers: Processing via your configured provider
  • Google Sign-In: Optional authentication method

5. Analytics

We use PostHog for analytics to understand feature usage:

  • Tracked: screen views, feature usage events, errors
  • Your user ID is hashed; no personal content is tracked

6. Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not track your location
  • We do not sell your data
  • We do not use your training data for advertising

7. Your Rights

  • Export all your data via Settings > Export Data
  • Delete your account and all associated data via Settings
  • Your local data is yours - we cannot access it

8. Data Retention

  • Local data: Controlled by you - deleted when you clear app data
  • Cloud backups: Stored until you delete them
  • Usage tracking: Retained for service operation

9. Beta Program Note

During beta, data handling may change. We recommend regular exports.

10. Age Restriction

This service is intended for users 16 years or older.

11. Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of Finland.
